Colorado Bound

We leave tomorrow for our annual trip to visit 

Grandma Carol and Grandpa Rick in Colorado.

Cousins Matthew and Catherine and Uncle Jim

and Aunt Meaghan will be there too. Hopefully I

will be able to blog from there as well and share

photos from the trip! We get home 7/21.

Elise is 3 months!

Elise turned 3 months on Saturday. She is

a sweet little baby and we love her so much!

The move to the the crib was great for us because

she has been sleeping all night ever since. In general,

Elise sleeps 7:30 pm - 6:30 or 7 am!!

She still loves being around her brother and is

starting to discover her hands (and voice). The other day,

she rolled over (tummy to back)! She is

just starting to wear her 3-6 mos. summer

wardrobe and is about 12 lbs. now. Aside from her

playmat, the Baby Bjorn is another favorite place

to hang out. She loves facing outwards now so

she can check things out.

Happy Father's Day! We had fun 

hanging out with you this week and our first beach 

day of the season was awesome (especially

the ice cream treat)! Thanks for being the best 

Daddy around and we love you SO much!

Last Day of School / Camp

This school year Jackson went 2 days a week and then

they offered a summer camp for a couple of weeks

in June, which he participated in. Yesterday was

his last day of camp. Pictured with him below is his teacher, 

Miss Maureen. This was definitely his favorite teacher

and we are sorry that we won't see her smiling 

face in the fall as Jackson will be going to a 

new school. But, it is just upstairs from his old school

so we can visit Miss Maureen whenever!

Meeting the Great-Grandparents

Father's Day weekend we went to Lancaster, PA

to introduce Elise to her great-grandparents (Noni

& Big Papa) and the rest of the family. Bill had to 

work so we are celebrating with him this week.

Elise had lots of big smiles for her great-grandparents

and Noni loved holding her in her arms while she slept.

Aunt Anna and my Dad came too so we got to spend

time with them as well.

Hanging With My Big Brother

Elise LOVES her big brother. There are days

when she doesn't feel like smiling much for 

Daddy or Mommy but if Jackson talks to her, she 

literally lights up. She doesn't even have to see 

him - just hearing his voice is enough to put a smile

on her face. Its like she knows they are on the same 

team or something...so cute!

Elise is really enjoying her playmat

lately and likes to hang out under there

and kick kick kick. She is starting to bat 

at the hanging toys (probably by accident).

Its a fun place to pass the time in between

naps and feedings! We moved her to her

crib two nights ago and so far so good. 

 

Cousin Matthew turns 1

Playing catch-up! A couple of weekends ago

we attended Cousin Matthew's 1st birthday

bash. It was a construction-themed party

so Jackson was pretty excited about all of the

trucks involved. He had so much fun that

he fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Note: he no longer takes naps as of about

a month ago so this was a big deal! Here are
